11 Viewing Centres for Akwa Ibom

Akwa Ibom State Government has set up eleven viewing centres across the State for the viewing pleasure of Akwa Ibom people.
This is to provide the citizenry the opportunity to watch the on-going 2010 FIFA organized World Football Tournament in South Africa.
The Viewing Centres which are coordinated by millennium media, an event management company, are provided with life size projector screen for adequate viewership and pleasant viewing experience.
The centres are located at: Christ the King Primary School, Uyo,
Itu Local Government Council Secretariat, Etinan Local Government Council Secretariat, Ikot Ekpene Stadium, Ikono Local Government Council Secretariat, Independence High School, Ukana, Essien Udim, Abak Stadium, Eket Stadium, Oron Stadium, Government Field, Ikot Abasi and Adiahaobong Girls’ Secondary School, Ikot Imoh, Nsit Ubium.
Disclosing this, the Commissioner for Information and Social Re-orientation, Mr. Aniekan Umanah enjoined the good people of Akwa Ibom and the general public to avail themselves of this government magnanimity by going to the designated viewing centres to watch the global football fiesta, with ease.
