IRS STAFF RECEIVE ADVICE

Staff of Akwa Ibom State Internal Revenue Service have been advised not to compromised or be identified with anything that will bring reproach to the board or the state at large.
The Chairman of Internal Revenue Service, Elder Inyang Etuk gave the advice during a valedictory meeting with the staff in his office.
Elder Etuk appreciated God for being with him, during his stay in the office and particularly thanked the Assessment and Motor Licensing Authorities for standing by him and their contributions to his administration.
The Chairman called on them to be transparent in the discharge of their functions adding that the government expectations from them is very high and advised them to buckle-up and work tirelessly to bring out good results.
Responding on behalf of the staff, the Director of Assessment, Elder Etim E. Udofia, thanked the Chairman for his good works for the staff and called on them to work harder to actualize the mind of government as far as revenue generation is concern.
Elder Udofia then appealed to government to recruit more staff to fill the vacant positions in the board, and implored the staff to re-brand their minds, by working seriously to attract God blessings.
