Viable Cooperative Societies For Posting On Internet

All viable Cooperative Societies in the State are to be updated in the Worldwide Web.
To achieve this feat, an audit of all the Cooperative Societies operating in the state will soon commence to ensure their viability.
The Special Adviser, Bureau of Cooperative Development, Mr. Godwin Udom who announced this recently while interacting with staff and field officers of the Bureau said the essence of registering the cooperative societies in Akwa Ibom is to project the state to the outside world and make it assessable to the people.
He advised the Zonal Officers to form Cooperative Societies in their zones and work earnestly to enable the Bureau to attend its set goals.
Mr. Udom remarked that he came to add value and change situations of the Bureau and transform it to a more meaningful one where many lives would be affected positively.
The Special Adviser announced that a yearly award for best performed zonal officers will be instituted to encourage hardwork and commitment among staff as well as described the Bureau of Cooperative Development as one of the grassroots ministries and called on staff to work harder for greater productivity.
The Permanent Secretary of the Bureau, Mr. Maxwell Ojoko lauded staff of the Bureau especially field officers for working tirelessly to add value to the Bureau.
Mr. Ojoko also thanked the new Special Adviser, Mr. Godwin Udom for setting machineries in motion within the short time to take the Bureau to greater height, adding that the Tin Tank Committee set up by the Special Adviser is quite commendable.
Mer. Ojoko called on the staff to continue to cooperate and work diligently to enable the Bureau to attain greater height.
